Parking is provided on site at a cost of £3 per car and does not have to be booked in advance.

Yes absolutely, you can send us an email with your booking reference number and let us know the changes you want to make.

Owners must be responsible and pick up after their dogs.
Dogs must be on a lead at all times.
We do not allow dangerous dog breeds on site.
We do not have space to allow private gazebos in the festival area.

We are located next to The Wayfarer Pub & Restaurant and the entrance and exit will be well signposted.

Closer to the event we will publish a festival map which will be available on arrival.
Arrival is Friday 5th July from midday.
Departure is Sunday 7th July by 8pm.
You can arrive or leave at any point during the festival but cars will only be allowed in the camping area on Thursday and Sunday afternoon/evening.
When you book your camping, you can let us know who you want to camp close to. the best way to do this is to ask the lead organiser to let you know the booking reference number.
Yes!
Caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents are all allowed at Surfstage.
You can let us know what you are bringing on the booking page.
Unfortunately we cannot offer an electric hookup.
Cars are allowed on the camp site on Thursday from midday and Sunday afternoon from midday. Once you have setup you will be asked to move your car to the campers car park during the festival.
Bikes are allowed in the camping area but not in the festival area. There are some lovley bike rides along the canal for anyone wanting to explore the area on two wheels.

General campsite rules:-
- No generators,
- No cooking inside tents or awnings.
- Waste must be taken to the bins or taken home with you, including unwanted equipment.
- Smoking only in designated areas.
- Dogs are welcome in the campsite area but must be on a lead and groups with dogs will be in a designated dog friendly area so please tell us when you book.
- Noise must be kept to a minimum after 9pm.
Rules on fire:-
Open fires are not allowed, this includes, fireworks, smoke canisters, Chinese lanterns and other similar items. Camping stoves are allowed provided they are fit for purpose, self contained and off the ground.
Gas canisters are allowed to a maximum of 5l.
Under 18's are not allowed to camp without a resonsible adult over the age of 21.

Campfire - Maintaining safety, keep fire going, extinguish safely
Welcomers - On entrance giving out wristbands, keeping tally of visitors.
In Welcome and Info tent, recording incidents of first aid, answering queries for campers/day visitors etc
Setting up and Packing down - Putting up marquees, gazeebos, marking out carpark/campsite etc
Sound & AV - We welcome volunteers to assist our sound and AV teams.
Volunteering at Surf Stage is so much fun and you will be helping us to bring to life our vision to celebrate and share God's love.

There will be an expectation that all volunteers will sign a volunteer agreement form in line with safeguarding policy which will include self-declarations. Some volunteer roles will require a current DBS. Once we have got our team list, you will be allocated your shift(s) - you'll have plenty of time enjoy the rest of the event :)
Surfstage takes people out of their everyday environment, inspiring them and giving them the opportunity to take a step forward in their faith. It’s a great time to get to know people better, make new friends and meet with the Holy Spirit. We want volunteers and festival goers to take home so much joy that people will be like whoa, I want some of that!
Being on team has the following benefits to name but a few:-

- Opportunity to input other peoples Christian journey, to show Jesus’ love.
- Oportunity to learn new skills to take back to your own church.
- Growing in confidence and growing in leadership.

We love to offer oportunities for youth to be on team - we believe that inspiring and building up young leaders is so important.
When young people serve on team at Surfstage they will experience the following benefits:-
- Spending time with other Christians.
- Raising their faith.
- Learning new skills.
- Growing in confidence and growing in leadership.
- Empowering young people to take back their enthusiasm to their own communities.
Some activities will require volunteers over the age of 18 or a mix of ages.

We provide free meals for volunteers who are all in and want to dive in for the whole weekend.
Volunteers who are happy to do a day will get free lunch.

Surfstage is hosted on a grass field.
In good conditions, the field is wheelchair and pram accessible and field access, facilities, bar and toilets are on ground floor level. We have a dedicated disabled W.C in the Wayfarer Pub on site.
Should the weather become wet, the field underfoot may by muddy underfoot.
We have disabled parking on site available on a first come first serve basis.
